Welcome to our homepage to meet our Maine Coon cats.

NomenEst cattery is located in Kitinoja, a small village in western Finland, about 10 minutes drive from the city of Seinäjoki.

My cattery name was registered in FIFe in 2000. We have been showing in FIFe since 1999. Our first Maine Coon came to us in 1999 and our first litter was born in 2002.

Our cats are our beloved pets and family members. All our cats are kept indoors, with the possibility of spending time in safe enclosed outdoor runs whenever they want to go out and the weather permits. We have three outdoor runs for the cats.

Our cats are FeLV and FIV negative and all our breeding cats are screened for HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy), PKD (polycystic kidney disease) and HD (hip dysplasia). Our cattery is also microsporum canis negative. Our goal is to breed healthy, well typed and sized Maine Coons with a wonderful temperament.

Our kittens are raised as family members in our home, never caged. Our kittens are ready to leave for their new homes at the minimum age of 13 weeks, FIFe -registered, at least twice vaccinated and checked by a vet with a written health certificate. We only sell our kittens as indoor cats. Taking them outside is only permitted in a safe enclosed outdoor run or in a safe harness. NomenEst cats are living in Finland, Austria, Denmark and Norway.
